We have created a unique early language teaching program, and have combined it with the Hand in Hand system, approved by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science.

In WEDA Private Kindergarten our goal is to form children‘s cognitive, social, emotional, aesthetic and physical culture. The child plays the role of an explorer with an active dynamic postion, skilfully guided by the teacher. In this way, we actively work for:

  • activation and enrichment of a child‘s vocabulary;
  • formation of grammatically correct and connected speech;
  • creating the basis of mathematical culture;
  • developing an interest in technology;
  • musical culture:
  • harmonious physical development.

In WEDA Private Kindergarten we develop children's unique personalities and we teach children how to be independent, how to take care of themselves.

The early German language training is based on entirely unique teaching programs developed in WEDA. Our aim is to create an authentic language environment for children from a very early age, so that they can learn the foreign language naturally, through games and various situations.

Our program is suitable for young learners and addresses the specific needs of the different age groups. We work carefully to not create information overload or demotivation. We place a special emphasis on system, consistency and continuity.

Our groups consist of about 15 children, which helps our teachers develop an individual approach to everyone. Each child has a designated journal for monitoring their development. The journal is filled in by the child‘s principal teacher, the foreign language teacher, the psychologist, the speech therapist and the doctor. All the information in the journal gives an overall picture of the psycho-physical and intellectual development of the child.

WEDA Private Kindergarten offers the following extracurricular activities:

  • Introduction to Bulgarian and German customs and traditions, which plays an important role in language learning and deepens children‘s knowledge of the cultures of both nations.
  • Music studies (in Bulgarian and German): highly qualified and distinguished specialists work with the children; they use a lot of their own original music and lyrics in the teaching process. Older children are offered piano lessons.
  • Folklore songs and dance: classes are taught by a choreographer and an accompanist. The complicated irregular time signatures and the rich melody of Bulgarian folklore music help form an excellent attitude to music, develop coordination and physical culture.
  • Ballroom dance: the activities enhance children‘s physical abilities and broaden their knowledge of music.
  • Sport: children can choose from rhythmic gymnastics, fencing, football, swimming, skiing, yoga, etc.
  • Attending theater plays, performances and shows.
  • Educational trips, seaside and mountain camps.
